Hard alloys are divided into three categories: YT, YG, and YW.

YG type hard alloys are mainly used for processing cast iron and non-ferrous metals, YT type is mainly used for processing steel materials, YW type has high bending strength, fatigue strength, and impact toughness, as well as good oxidation resistance and wear resistance, and can be used for processing cast iron and non-ferrous metals. YT type hard alloys are suitable for processing steel materials. When processing steel materials, the metal undergoes significant plastic deformation, intense friction, and high cutting temperatures. YT type hard alloys have high hardness and wear resistance, especially high heat resistance, good resistance to bonding diffusion and oxidation resistance. When processing steel materials, tool wear is small and tool durability is high. Therefore, YT type hard alloy should be selected as the tool material when processing 40 Mn material workpieces. Select blade material YT15.

Problems encountered in terminal blade design:
What machinery are needed to make terminal machine blades? Terminal blade blades are first cut into shape by wire, and then polished and polished by oneself. How can they be smooth and useful? The blade is ground by a grinder, mainly the part where the upper blade is concave. What method can be used to make the concave part smooth and angular?

The focus of the blades is on the cutting edge, which has high accuracy. If using slow wire walking, the effect may be better. The method is to use a caliper to measure the back, length, and width of the terminal, and then you can tell the width and thickness of the cutting tool. Width refers to the width of the blade.
However, in practical operations, the selection of tool life is related to tool wear, changes in the processed size, surface quality, cutting noise, processing heat, and so on. When determining the processing conditions, it is necessary to conduct research based on the actual situation. For difficult to machine materials such as YT15 and heat-resistant alloys, coolants or rigid cutting edges can be used.
